At Skookum Kids, we are passionate about protecting the connection between children and their families while in the child welfare system, and want to celebrate and support families who are back together after their time apart.
Camp Skookum is a place to make memories, find community with other families, and celebrate being together. And it’s completely free for families to attend.

Want to volunteer?
Camp Skookum requires roughly 75 volunteers annually to serve our incredible campers. We have "shift" roles available each day, running from 3-5 hours at a time helping pull off events (example: running a craft station, serving cotton candy, resetting after meals, light housekeeping duties, etc.). We also have a weekend-long volunteer position working directly with families to provide extra hospitality and childcare.
This would be a great volunteer opportunity for parents with their older teens, small groups, couples, college students seeking more experience in the social work space and anyone who wants to make some summer camp magic for families.
